So, right now im in Angeles City finishing my new hotel The Penthouse and getting ready to launch a new restaurant/bar with yet to be named.  Basically my DJ and partying career is on hold for the next couple of months while I try to get my money making ventures off the ground.

With that I leave you with is a post about Walking Street, Chiang Mai style… Ive only been to one “Walking Street” and that is the infamous one in Pattaya. The Chiang Mai version is drastically different! The hookers have been replaced with vendors and the only bukkake going on is the over spill of backpackers…

Anyways… if I never go to another market, bazaar, hippy circle gathering in my life… I think i’d be alright. Im over all the organic shit… gimme some chemically enhanced goodness!

I was gonna write more about this, but im lazy and im recovering from a hangover that started on Thursday… say no to drugs!

Anyways, last Tuesday before I left Thailand I went and did what other backpackers do in Chiang Mai. Go visit the Long Neck Tribe aka the Kayan People and ride elephants.

So when in Chiang Mai, apparently the thing to do other than ride elephants, shop, and visit temples is learn to cook… So while stumbling around looking for a new guest house to stay at (cuz I was staying in a shithole!) I stumbled upon Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School. It was in a cool little quiet neighborhood near Tha Phae Gate.

I booked a class, they picked me up hella early the next day and I met Gayray, she took up to the market and garden and proceeded to teach us how to cook with EMOTION. Anyways.. long story short, Gayray showed me how to make some Thai dishes, gave me a cook book and now im ready to open my own stall at Salcedo Market!

After all that healthy Thai food, I had to get some fucked up greasy american burgers. Duke’s was the spot! Although Across the street was Mike’s Original and they were just a little bit better. Ill get in to that in another post.
