Sorry for the late post… im stuck doing boring work shit right now… actually its not that boring but I dont how long of a conversation you wanna have with me about concrete, marble, and laying pipe
Last Saturday I opened up for my homey J-Hoon’s album release party it was a fun night, I actually got to play some really cool shit i havent played in awhile. I think i recorded the set, ill look for it and try to post later.
I didnt get a chance to take photos, so i stole these from Ren Mangaban. She’s pretty rad, havent hung out with her since the bunny ears episode.

Steve Tirona directed this video for the young homeys Bee Eyes. I dont know where he got the models from but the bunny ears was like a dose of pterodactyl if you know what I mean (prolly not, so whatever). Most of the video is shot in my home town of Los Angeles and the chicks look straight out of an American Apparel shoot.. super boner!
The song has this eerie beach/garage vibe to it, hard to imagine that this band is straight filthy grimey Manila! Anyways the best band in the Philippines has finally released the video, enjoy!

One of my favorite bands in the entire world is releasing their movie Shut Up and Play the Hits to theaters in America! If someone gets ahold of this film please notify me I would love to be part of a screening in the Philippines. If you dont know this band, stop being lazy! You’re on the fucking internet just google the name LCD Soundsystem! Trust, you can than me later!
The film chronicles the final days of the band and their big blow out at Madison Square Garden… it’s fuckin awesome!

Yo, just read on Rob Swift’s website today that Roc Raida would have turned 40 today. With all the turntablists we’ve had in Manila recently (J Rocc and Neil Armstrong) I thought it would only be proper to give a shout out to one of my hero’s growing up. I had the fortunate opportunity to actually kick with Roc Raida back in the day photo below. Anyways, click on Rob Swift’s link below to out more about Roc For Raida benefit.
